    What is an effective quality improvement project in nursing?

    On October 5, 2021, the first webinar “What is an effective quality improvement project in nursing?” from a three-part online webinar series on improving nursing practice through collaboration.

    The purpose of the webinars is to discuss relevant nursing research and development topics that arise from clinical practice and how to solve them together. Webinars will allow nursing personnel to display their expertise from their own professional field, which will increase their confidence to collaborate with university staff. The last webinar was attended by over 100 representatives of practical health care, teaching staff, as well as students of medical universities in Kazakhstan. The webinar was organized by the JAMK University of Applied Sciences and the Karaganda Medical University. Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, PhD of the JAMK University of Applied Sciences Hannah Hopia gave a lecture “What is an effective project to improve the quality of nursing?” After that, the participants discussed the current problems of nursing practice, as well as discussed their relevance.
