Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the RoundTable on “Developing collaboration for the support of evidence-based nursing in Kazakhstan” which will be held in Astana, AMU, Beibitshilik street 49/A, Kazakhstan, on 7th – 9th February 2023. The RoundTable is part of the AccelEd project (“Accelerating Master and PhD Level Nursing Education Development in the Higher Education System in Kazakhstan”), which is co-funded by the EU through the Erasmus+, which implements innovative projects to increase capacity and reform higher education. The roundtable is organized by the Karaganda Medical University and the Jamk University of Applied Sciences, with the support and assistance of the National Project Coordinator of the Astana Medical University. Translation into Russian will be provided.
Participants of the roundtable are representative of Ministry of Health, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, academic staff and first management of Kazakhstani medical universities and higher medical colleges, representative of practical healthcare, head and chief nurses, PhD and master students.
The main goal of the round table is to start a discussion about joining JBI entities, to emphasize the relevance and benefits of opening a center in Kazakhstan. Another goal is to raise the issue of open science and support the opening of a unified repository for the development of nursing science in Kazakhstan.
