Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the Seminar on “Service design and its application for nursing
development” which will be held in Karaganda, KMU, Gogol str., 40, Kazakhstan, on 4
th of November
2022. The Seminar is part of the AccelEd project (“Accelerating Master and PhD Level Nursing
Education Development in the Higher Education System in Kazakhstan”), which is co-funded by the EU
through the Erasmus+, which implements innovative projects to increase capacity and reform higher
education.
The seminar will gather academic staff and nursing research experts from diverse kinds of healthcare
organizations (e.g. hospitals, associations, medical researchers etc.) and will initiate the discussion on
the effectiveness of methods proposed and reported. The Seminar is organized for the academic staff
of medical universities nursing faculty and their university hospital clinics staff, chief nurses, head
nurses and Master and PhD students as well as higher medical colleges nursing faculty.
The purpose of the seminar is to share experience in the implementation and use of the Service
Design method in Kazakhstan. Another goal of the seminar is to initiate discussion, dissemination and
sustainability of the Teaching and Learning materials developed within the framework of the project.
Within the framework of the seminar, presentations / reports on the experience of implementing
Service Design, as well as reports on collaboration between practical healthcare and medical
universities / colleges are accepted. Please send the title of the paper and the full name of the
speaker to the email below by 16 October.
