As part of the Erasmus+ AccelEd project, PhD student of the KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov educational programs «Nursing Science» and PhD students of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy educational programs «Medicine» Khojakulova Umida Abdyvalyevna and Dana Auyezkhankyzy are currently undergoing a scientific internship at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences LSMU, Lithuania, Kaunas. The scientific internship takes place in the period from 03.10.2022 to 18.11.2022.

The purpose of the scientific internship: increasing the interest of PhD students in the development of competencies for further study in doctoral studies and the development of competencies for teaching and research of nursing in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the scientific internship, PhD students study new pedagogical methods and various ways of developing nursing and research projects in Europe. The scientific internship program includes participation in training and supervision classes and supervision of them, PhD seminars and lectures, meetings on research projects, assistance to teachers during lectures, study visits to local health organizations that are engaged in current relevant research and development projects, work with researchers at the university and with external partners, also, PhD students have access to the LSMU university library and databases in which they conduct an independent search for the necessary scientific information
