A clear conceptual knowledge of theories, models, and frameworks of nursing science is required in order to teach nursing science, to conduct nursing research and to publish it in the international scientific community.

For this purpose, the first part of a training course (online) “The substance and theory development of nursing-caring” 10 ECTS has started on 21st of June, 2021. It will last until 23rd of June, 2021.

The course participants are altogether 28 PhD and Master’s students in nursing science and university teachers in nursing science from seven universities at Kazakhstan.

The course is organized as collaboration by Åbo Akademi University in Finland and Astana Medical University in Kazakhstan.
